•  iStation in GCISD 
     
    iStation is a computer adapted reading program that supports student learning through assessments and fun, interactive learning activities designed to meet your child's needs.  GCISD students participate in ISIP reading 3 times a year--Beginning, middle, and end of year.  Some students also participate in monthly progress monitoring activities based on needs identified through the ISIP assessment.  
     
    New this year is iStation Math.  iStation math is currently in development, however, students in 2nd-5th grade are able to participate in ISIP Math.  Beginning, middle, and end of the year data is used to guide classroom instruction.

    iStation Percentile Rank
    A Percentile Rank for iStation is a score that indicates the rank of a student compared to other students in their normative sample. If a student scores at the 75th percentile, it can be said that he of she has scored at least as well as, or better than, 75 percent of students his or her age from the normative sample of the test. Using the charts below, you can look up your student's score to find his or her percentile rank.
