  • CHHS Debate Team


    Congratulations to the debate team for their performance this past weekend at the Plano West tournament. Competing against 50 Lincoln Douglas debaters, Celine Wei and Justin Yan were in the octofinals. Manaal Siddique competed in the quarterfinals in that division. in Public Forum debate, also competing against 50 competitors from Houston and the DFW area, the teams of Will Watson and Raheena Ali and Alina Shivji and Aleena Jamal were octofinalists. Capping the success was the Public Forum team of Miranda Nutt and Marina Leventis. Miranda and Marina placed first in the division. By doing so, they now have fully qualified for the Tournament of Champions that will be held at the University of Kentucky in late April. Please congratulate these young people when you see them.

    Christoph Martin Ruepprich, a.k.a Rocket, and his son Christoph Alexander Ruepprich of Team Texas Heat, were pronounced the winners of the the 2016 ODTUG GeekAThon competition. They worked together on an idea where they used a Bluetooth beacon and a RaspberryPi computer to create an automatic gate opener.     Due to Goblin Day at GHS, classes at GHS will not be available on Thursday.
    On Thursday, all students that normally attend A-Day classes at GHS need to check in with the CHHS Attendance Office and then sign in at the CHHS Library.

  • Veteran's Day Events
    On November 11th, we will be celebrating Veteran’s Day on our campus through a variety of activities!
    One of these events includes recognizing our local veterans during our Varsity Girls Basketball Tournament.  We will be recognizing them at half-time of our 12:00 game.  If you or a local loved one is a Veteran, we would love to recognize and thank you for your service.

  • 2016 Panther Cheerfest

    Cheerfest 2016
    The CHHS Panther Cheerleaders are hosting their annual Cheerfest on Saturday, December 10 from 1:00-4:00 pm at CHHS for grades K-5th.
    Get your Christmas Shopping done and let your aspiring cheerleader learn some cheers, jumps, motions, and more!
    They will perform at the Varsity basketball games on Friday, December 16!
