Fulfilling their promise to return to the state finals after coming up short one year ago, the Grapevine High School girls finished first at the UIL 5A cross country state meet on a cold and rainy Saturday in Round Rock. The GHS boys cross country squad also brought home medals, finishing third in the team competition. Colleyville Heritage High School also brought home a medal.
