  • Art Showcase Night - January 18, 2018


    Timberline Elementary and its Cultural Artistic Leadership Academy led by Mrs. Camille M. Hernandez hosted the annual Art Showcase on Thursday, January 18, 2018.


    The Showcase featured artistic and cultural presentations from Panama and Puerto Rico (Mrs. Hernandez birthplace) and as a special guest, renowned Puertorrican artist, Noin Rivera, delighted everyone painting live to the rhythm of Puertorrican music. Student leaders led guests on tours of artwork displayed from all students in K-5th. Students also led interactive technology stations, art stations and a museum information table. This unique event brought art and culture together not only for Timberline families but for all of our GCISD community as well.

  • Spelling Bee Winners


    On January 11th, over 30 students competed in our annual Spelling Bee!  Congratulations to our Winner, Emily, and our Runner Up, Karley!  They spelled some tough words to make it to the top.

  • Geography Bee Winners


    On December 12th, 10 finalists competed in our annual Geography Bee here at Timberline Elementary.  Congratulations to our winner Colton and our runner up Julian!  Good job boys!

  • Bicycle Give Away!


    Academy Sports and Outdoors donated 50 bicycles to our Tigers!  Students who met an important goal in the fall semester were entered into a drawing to win!  Thank you Academy for your generous donation to our school!

  • 1st School Pep Rally


    We had our first Pep Rally of the year before Thanksgiving Break!  Ms. Ingram recognized student leaders who reached an important goal in each grade level.  Click here to see PreK, 2nd and 4th grade celebrations!

  • Leadership Night 2017


    Timberline Elementary hosted a 7 Habits Leadership Night on November 16th.  Families enjoyed a pizza dinner and then toured each grade level to learn more about the 7 Habits.  Click here to see more pictures of this fun event!

  • Club Day at TES!


    Our first Club Day happened on November 2nd, a half day of school!  Students and teachers participated in Clubs that they signed up for the week before.  It was a great day for Sharpening the Saw and meeting new friends.  Shown here is the Candy Club!

  • Veteran's Day Performance


    Under the direction of Mr. Beale, our music teacher, TES 3rd graders put on an amazing Veteran's Day performance the evening of November 9th for veterans and families in the cafeteria.   Enjoy a brief clip here!

  • Taste of Timberline 2017


    November 4th was a great day for families at Timberline Elementary!  It was our annual Taste of Timberline event.  There were games, food, the book fair, grade level dances, a silent auction and music for everyone to enjoy.  Thank you to all of our volunteers who made this day a success!  Click here to enjoy a "live" video from our principal and assistant principal that day on our school Facebook page.

  • PTA Skatetown Event


    On October 26th, our PTA hosted a family Skatetown night.  There were costume trophies given to the top costume winners in each grade level.

  • Dad's Club Camp Out


    On October 13th, our wonderful Dad's Club hosted a Family Campout at Timberline Elementary.  Families brought tents and camped out under the stars.

    Timberline Elementary Staff had a great day of Professional Development on August 8th, 2017 in preparation for this coming school year!  Staff members met at the Fort Worth Museum of Science & History as the TES building construction continued.  We can't wait to see our Tigers on Meet the Teacher Night - Thursday, August 17th from 5:30-7:00pm.

  • Leader in Me Symposium Day – February 2, 2017


    Timberline Elementary hosted school visitors on February 2, 2017 for the National Leader in Me Symposium Day. Our TES Student Lighthouse Team performed a song and classroom leaders greeted visitors throughout the building. Tigers shared their learning goals in their Leadership Notebooks with guests.   • CALA Art Showcase Night 2017


    On Thursday, January 12, 2017, Señora Hernandez held our annual TES CALA Art Showcase!  CALA stands for Cultural Artistic Leadership Academy.  This year students have been learning about South America.  This night was full of culture, art exhibits, museum information, and interactive stations led by the student leaders here at Timberline.  Please check out more pictures from this awesome event!

  • Tiger Choir Holiday Performances - December 15, 2016


    Our Tiger Choir went all out on December 15th with 3 performances!  Student choir members, with the leadership of Mr. Beale, performed twice in the morning for students and once in the evening for families and guests.  They helped everyone get into the holiday spirit with their show, the North Pole Musical!

    Thank you to our amazing PTA parents and staff who made our annual fall festival, Taste of Timberline, such a success!  Everyone enjoyed the music, dancing, delicious food, games, face painting, and silent auction.  It was a great day!

    Red Ribbon Week Kick Off!

  • Kona Ice Truck Reward for Summer Readers

    On Thursday, Sept 8, 2016, a Kona Ice truck visited right outside the TES Library for a summer reading celebration!  Students who logged 10 books over the summer were invited to attend and eat a snowcone together.  Please click here to view a slideshow of the event.  Way to go, Readers!

  • 4th Grade's Visit to the State Capitol

    Fourth graders from Grapevine - Colleyville ISD’s Timberline Elementary traveled to Austin on an Education in Action Discover Texas Field Trip May 16, 2016 to experience what they are learning in fourth grade Texas History. Students visited the Texas State Capitol and the Bullock Texas State History Museum.

  • The Leader in Me Symposium

    Our students and staff really shined during the 2016 DFW Leader in Me Symposium on Tuesday, February 2nd and Wednesday, February 3rd. Our students demonstrated their leadership abilities in a variety of ways. They greeted our guests, explained their leadership/data notebooks, articulated the importance of goal setting, offered detailed explanations of the data boards on our walls, presented at the conference in Dallas, spoke before many adults, shared their leadership roles and the importance of each leadership role and much, much, more! The Leader in Me organization also recognized just how great TES is, which they demonstrated by choosing TES as a spotlight campus and choosing TES students and staff members for speech roles and presenter roles at the conference in Dallas.  Please enjoy the summary video by clicking on the link below!

  • TES Holiday Sing-A-Long - December 18, 2015

    On Friday, December 18th, Timberline Elementary students had a special Holiday Sing-A-Long gathering in the cafeteria.  Afterward, students and staff were surprised by a large bicycle donation by Academy Sports in Grapevine, TX.  Girl and Boy names with perfect attendance were entered in a drawing to win a bicycle!  We want to say a huge Thank You to Academy for this special donation to our school.

  • Holiday Choir Concert - December 17, 2015

    The Timberline Elementary Choir performed under the direction of Mr. Beale.  There were performances for the school on Wednesday, December 16th and for parents and guests on Thursday evening, December 17th.  4th and 5th grade choir members performed songs from "A Charles Dicken's Christmas".

    Our annual Geography Bee was held on Thursday, December 17, 2015.  Congratulations to all of our finalists.  The big winner for this year was 5th grader, Madison Mooney!  Way to go leaders!

    McTeacher's Night at McDonald's Restaurant

    On December 15, 2015, the McDonald's Restaurant on Glade and Hwy 121 welcomed teachers from Timberline Elementary to serve up meals to families and guests as a school promotion and fundraiser.  It was a fun evening!

  • Veteran's Day Celebration 2015

    3rd graders performed patriotic songs for our Veteran's Day celebration.  We had lots of Veterans visit us during our video morning announcements and during the 3rd grade program.  The veteran below is Doug Workman, grandfather to kindergartener, Claire Boggs.  Mr. Workman is a Retired Senior Master Sergeant for the US Air Force.  He is a career veteran! He served from Vietnam to Afghanistan!

    GCISD Principals visited our TES leaders on October 14, 2015!

    GCISD Principals visited our classrooms here at Timberline Elementary.  They were welcomed by classroom greeters and learned about the Student Data Notebooks students use.  Students use data notebooks to track growth in personal and educational goals.

    Thank you to CTMS and GHS students for coming to Timberline Elementary for our Rachel's Challenge Kick Off celebration during our Pep Rally on Friday.  Our Tigers are showing kindness every day thanks to your leadership and example.

  • Summer Reading Celebration 2015!


    38 students participated in the Timberline Summer Reading Program.  On September 4, 2015, these readers were rewarded for their efforts with a snow cone - Kona Ice party!  Way to be Proactive over the summer, Tigers.  Keep up the great reading!
