The bond package was assembled by FIRST – the Facility Innovation & Readiness Stakeholder Team. This group was made up of 59 GCISD parents, community members and district employees, with representatives from every campus. FIRST members worked from July 2015 through February 2016 to develop the recommended project list. Every member of FIRST had the opportunity to voice opinions about each project. FIRST was divided into focus groups and every group voted on each project item.
