GHS & CHHS included in Newsweek's "Best High Schools of 2012" list

GHS and CHHS have been ranked in the top 1,000 public high schools in the U.S. by Newsweek magazine. Colleyville Heritage High comes in at number 198 in the country, while Grapevine High ranks as number 396. The high schools on the list are added based on their effectiveness at producing college-readiness in students. Six components are used to rank the high schools. These components are graduation rate, SAT/ACT scores, college matriculation rate, AP courses taken by per student, AP courses offered per student, and average AP scores. This is not the first time GCISD's high schools have been featured on this list, and through GCISD's steadfast dedication to college readiness for students, it will not be the last. Congratulations to GHS and CHHS!
