Administrators in new places; and welcome two "new faces"
Several administrative changes at the central and campus levels are being made to reduce payroll costs, fill leadership roles and increase opportunities for employees. GCISD welcomes a new director of Transportation Services and a new principal at Timberline Elementary. In addition, five elementary and three middle school assistant principals will greet students, parents and faculties at different campuses in the coming year. Read more about administrative changes.
Need to buy school supplies?
Lists for school supplies are available in the Back to School section of the website, listed by school and grade level. In addition, you'll find registration dates and what you need to verify residency, immunization requirements, summer reading lists, a link to the volunteer background check form, and much more. Go to the Back to School section or School Supplies page.
Join in the Texas Star Welcome for new educators
